My wife started texting a customer from her work, as it started to increase I asked her what it was all about? SCAM: received a text message, allegedly from my daughter, at 00.54 in the morning which was 'hello mum, this is my new number. My old phone no longer works. Can you send this number a message on Whatsapp? 07706376356.' So I did. I then checked with my daughter, who confirmed that she has not changed her phone number. I have phoned the number twice since; does not pick up but does go through to an anonymous voicemail.

Automated call saying there is a £79 charge outstanding on my Amazon account push reply to remove this charge & cancel the payment. Obviously I just hung up as it’s a very well known scan & if reply had been selected it would most likely have connected to a high premium number
