Not a scam, it's fine! Was told it was HSBC and was asked to verify my identity by the agent on the other end. I let them know I would call back directly to avoid a scam and she said okay, she would put a note on my file about it, and ended the call. I called HSBC directly through their official phone line and asked about it and they DID find a note on my file - it was totally legitimate! If in doubt go ahead and call back anyway, it's good practice, but don't ignore this number because it is actually real

Automated call stating that £300 & £1,100 had been taken from my card. “Press 1 to cancel”. I pressed 1 to try and find out who was calling. Was told by a guy with a foreign accent that the call was from London Paddington. He asked the reason for my call and then asked for my full name. Absolutely no idea why Vodafone are calling me...I'm with EE....but I had several calls from this number over a few weeks; all were declined as I don't answer unknown numbers. Got my phone bill today and have apparently been charged for sending photo messages to this number, which is absolutely impossible!!! Will be contacting EE tomorrow...
