Telemarketing company acting on behalf of the RCNi (subsidiary of the Royal College of Nursing) - selling their products to customers. I had a call from this number the well spoken call handler had my name, email address, home address and membership number. Trying to sell me a product and asked for me my bank account number and sort code. Repeated unwanted calls re election this week. Always around 11am.
I have received five missed calls from this number so far, in the last two days. The sixth was at 06:04pm, on the 17/01/2013. It was a woman, I never caught the companies name, but she was calling from Manchester. She knew all my details and was calling on the subject of repaying loans and debts.

I was called from this number approx. 5,00pm this evening, and answered to a recorded female message advising me that my Amazon Prime account had expired, and that a charge of £95 would be made to automatically renew it. As I do not have a Prime account, I did not listen any further to the message, which I suspect was going to advise me to press a digit on my phone, to speak to an adviser, from where details of my Bank Account would be required!! I hung up halfway through the message.

When I answered there was a short delay then obviously a busy call centre with numnerous conversations taking place. The caller had a very strong Indian accent and it was impossible to understand what she was saying, not helped by the background noise. Typical of many other scam phone calls. I left the phone on but ignored the conversation until the caller closed the line.

SCAM / SPAM I got a call from this number saying it was from BT and that my internet connection would be cut off within 24 hours because my account had been hacked. The recorded message then said to talk to someone press 1, press 2 for others.
No idea who this is. The usual "junk" call - silence on other end of line. I ve blocked the number.
