This is a fake number used by scammers to try to get personal information about you. They sound very official and scary, suggesting legal action against you. I inadvertently provided them with my name, National Insurance number and name of bank before I realised that it was a phishing attempt. The caller spoke with a slightly American accent. I tried to call the number back, but it's invalid.

Purporting to be Inland Revenue; obviously not. A recorded message - robotic female voice - asking to phone Dennis something and not to ignore call. Indian accented chap answered with 'Inland Revenue' or similar, clearly bogus. Unsettling.

Called from 01245 407320 Unsolicited call from these cowboys today ( 25 Oct 2014). Despite my number being on the TPS, they asked for me by name. My wife wouldn t put the call thru to me until they confirmed what they wanted to ask me about. The caller refused to confirm this, so wifey hung up on them. I had a missed call from this number, so i called back to identify the caller. An automated message told me that its the Conns Collection Company. I dont know why they called me.
Never answered, calls me at 10.15 ish am every Monday have blocked it multiple times still manages to get through!
