Online search says it should be Nat West fraud department, but also that it could be scammers spoofing the number.

Some Indian bloke called saying i was owed 4 thousand pounds in PPI, then a minute later he said it was 2 thousand pounds. I asked why had the amount had dropped down, to which he claimed he never said 4 thousand. The clearly tell so many lies and talk so much rubbish, they can never remember what they do say. He wanted details and when I didn t comply, he got verbally abusive. It all adds up to a complete and total farce.

Next Step. They have called countless times with these two numbers. Today I choose to answer. A lot of the information they have got about me is wrong, I didn t correct them. I am to expect some paperwork in the next few days which I will return to sender at their cost. Also, I have blocked the numbers.

Phoning persistently over the past few days from different numbers. Some kind of survey scam, but they hang up as soon as you deviate from script. If they call, don t give away any personal info: don t even confirm your name. Instead, try to politely find out their company name and address. Then send details to offcom / TPS / your MP etc (perhaps with a similar level of persistence?), until someone does something. It s just an idea. Good luck!

I phoned this number back and it said THIS NUMBER IS UNRECOGNIZED so now I know. When I answered this number previously it was an Asian man with bad English from a lifestyle company doing surveys. I ve been a victim of fraud in the past so never do over the phone surveys especially from an Asian man with bad English. Also be careful when you phone someone afterwards as they are always still on the phone line.

Called me on my mobile today telling me I may ber entitled to PPI. Quizzed the guy on the phone, wouldn t tell me who gave him my number and then told me I shouldn t have responded to a text message which I DID NOT!

Took a contract out with car phone warehouse have not given out number which means car phone warehouse has passed on my number against my will. These people wana sell u BAD and EXPENSIVE phone insurance. Have phone insurance elsewhere but won t take no for an answer. Have called me 6+ times in 2 weeks.
