SCAM Number appeared on my daughters phone. We didn’t ring or save it but by the looks of it, it’s a scam!

Got a phonecall saying that it was eon to arrange an appointment to fit a smart meter he asked if I would pay by direct debit or smart pay as you go when I said pay as you go je said there was a problem with the system and he would call back I contacted eon and they assured me that this is a scam and not one of their numbers

FRAUD Had the same call yesterday but different local number Foreign voice saying he was called John Claiming to be card security and asked for my bank name. I asked which card and they hung up. Received a call on this number from a woman with a thick Indian accent, called Jessica. Claimed she was from EE but when I challenged her as to how she got my number she hung up

I have been telephoned this afternoon – apparently by EE – to tell me that I was getting a 45% discount on my bill for the next year? I was then passed on to a supervisor to confirm my email address – which I did. They then said that they would email me and I would need to change the password to EEdefault19: at this point I told the caller I would hang-up.
