Caller with indian accent gave a fake name and claimed to be calling from BT Broadband. He said there were hackers using my wifi according to messages on their server. He then tried to scare me in to giving him access to my computer. He was obviously trying to scam me as I don t have an account with BT. He hung up on me when I wouldn t let him access my computer.

Number on my display was 01473 727895. Said they were from the Call Blocking Service, and were able to upgrade my service. I don't think they were I got bad vibes from it. I hung up. I think it may be a scam call.

Very bad harrassment ! Last time they called from another number. They found out my name and got my telephone mumber from somewhere and now bothering me about financial services where im zero interested in. Harrassment non stop ! I have received several calls to my mobile from this number recently. If I don t answer the phone, they don t leave a message and when I do answer it the caller appears to hang up. I am wandering if it is SPAM or a wrong number (but surely if the latter they would have left a message for someone else or spoken to me and discovered the error). I ve noticed several Manchester numbers being associated with unwanted calls to EE customers and wonder if this number is also being used by the same people/company.

No idea who calls my landline phone from telephone number 01722741109. All calls go onto my telephone answering machine but no message is ever left from him.
I blocked this number on my phone only to get called by a very similar number a little while later, its outrageous how personal information is given freely between organisations.
