P I B 1 CONTRACTOR LTD - charged 88yr old vulnerable male in Kent, £1,468.80 for emergency call out to gain entry as lock out of home and has been reported to Trading Standards. After two local locksmiths quoted £250-300 for work done inc. emergency call out fee. Please report them to trading standards as did not pressure to do work but exploited his desperateness to get back home.

Said they were SKY, and knew i was ViP customer trying to offer a better deal. I went along with it as far as first and last name, once they asked for my address i said you are Sky you should know this already so I hung up. If it is genuine then i dont think they went about it the right way. If they are not, then i am happy i hung up.

Tried to tell me that I need to get a new mortgage right now or I would end up in ?10,000+ worth of debt due to my current mortgage. They called and said it was a confidential matter and wanted my details so I asked for the companies name but refused to give it as this would prejudice the situation so I advise that their is no provision within the DPA 1988 which states that they are not allowed to disclosed their details prior to me disclosing mine.
