SCAM / SPAM purporting to be from HM Customs with investigation ongoing on my number I was supposed to press 1 for further info needless to say I hung up and put it on blocked caller list.

Very annoying! I received many calls from this number and when I answered nobody spoke. I decided to not answer but they called again many times, so I decided to block the number. I don t know who there is in the other side. Anyone knows?

Ring their phone: you ll find the voice message is by teenager who can barely read the script. The script is by someone who can t write - "If you have had A accident...". So if that s the effort and expense they re prepared to invest into making their first impression, imagine how diligent their customer service must be. Enough said.

Scam. I use to work for vodafone, and the first thing i asked after he started talking was " who is your line manager?" "And what system am i on". He freaked out and try come back but not a chance. As for the question providing you managers name should be a problem, unless you are a scammer and it takes you 5-6 seconds to invent a name, secondly vodafone has 2 systems that are being used in the company and it s a very simple to answer this question for a vodafone person. TAX - suspicious call - automated voice stating that a criminal tax activity had taken place and was being investigated, stated press 1 fro more information about the case. I hung up as it all sounded very suspicious.
