SCAM SPAM Fraud Had a cal from this number and it is a "SPOOFED" number. A guy with an Indian accent and poot English spoke but I simply hung up as I have never, ever had any dealings with the RBOS in my entire life so there is no reason for them to call. Additionally, how did they get my mobile number? Have had several cal;ls but I never answer tyjhose that I do not the number of but it is annoying, unsolicited and basically harrassment. I can see why older people get snagged up with these things and end up well out of pocket.This is the type of thing that government should be legislating about and force mobile phine and landline operators to bar numbers from using their networks - reason why they dont? perhaps people in government make money out of it - maybe?

Called with a thick asian accent claiming to be Janet from Virgin and calling about an issue with the router. They asked me to tell them the colour on the router and then input a web address. I guessed immediately that this was a scam but decided to lead them on a little. After a couple of minutes 'Janet' realised that I knew this was a scam and launched into a tirade of verbal abuse swearing and threatening to come and stab me before then hanging up!

They call on a regular basis trying to say that I can claim on mis-sold insurance, loans and credit cards. I think there really a debt collection agency trying to confirm your identity and getting you to confirm old debts. TOTAL PARRASITES, DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THEM.

I was very sick and I had my phone in do not disturb. I checked it later on in the evening and I had 11 missed calls from them!!!! No message left. I called back and i was diverted to answer phone. I wouldn t answer this call. It s very unprofessional to call that many times! If you call once leave a damn message and let the person get back to you!

Tried a free app called call zapper today! I m sure there s loads similar ones available too! Answer silently (you have to be somewhere quiet!) then press home button and really quickly open the app then hit the FAX button and it plays the fax tone down the line to them! Let s see if it results in my number being deleted from their database! Give it a try and post up here how you get on!! PS It s not my app or anything (!) just sharing something I hope will work! JL

I have emailed nicky frequently and had no response and when I called they told me I will not get a refund and I could call trading standards as il nowhere.
