These crooks are called Ascend Finance and are buying local numbers so that you are duped into answering their call. Do not answer and report them to OFCOM.

I texted back to say they d got a wrong number but apparently their number doesn t recieve text messages, although it does seem to be able to send them! Very rude and persistent caller, they call themselves Green Shield. I have reported them to TPS. I will wait to see if that does any good.

3 phone calls in 3 days from this no. Having searched this site and others to read reports of Windows scams etc. I decided to answer this one. An Asian man asked if I was Miss Christine. I said "Who? Who s calling?" He hung up, I didn t for another 3 minutes, so presumably prevented him from bothering someone else. Reporting to ICO.

Have had several calls from this number - 01618500044 - they say they are a company called RECLAIM FINANCE. I have never taken out finance so cannot be owed any compensation?! When I,ve got a free minute I bombard these parasites with dead calls by withholding my own number see how these oiks like it! Everyone should do the same when they can spare a minut, see how they like it.
