SCAM SPAM Fraud phone call as others have claimed that they pretend to be from O2 (probably trying to take advantage of the Virgin media/O2 partial merger) or hang up instantly. They don't leave voicemails or attempt more than once as it's an automated machine going through a number list.

I have had so so many calls from this PPI company I have lost count. I have worked in call centres before and know that legally if someone asks to be removed from the list, then you must ensure their number is removed, and yet they don t seem to do this.

SCAM silent phone call which is persistent. Make sure your internet connection is switched off before answering then continually press your cut off button to get them of the line. Double check that they have hung up or they may try and connect to your internet without you knowing.
SCAMrecorded message stating my national insurance number had been illegally used and to avoid being arrested I must answer some questions by pressing 1 on my keypad. I hung up!

Got a call from this number on my mobile. Said I d been in an accident. No I haven t. I reckon they just dial numbers at random. I say this because only my family know my mobile number and I won t give it out to ANYONE else. They didn t even know my name or where I was from or where the accident happened or what car I was supposed to have been driving or what time of day or the date it was supposed to have happened. Someone named Clive Roberts rang me from this number today 4/11/15 at 11am stating he was calling on behalf of 02. He said he was offering a promotion that 02 were providing. He asked me the usual how much am i paying for my payg per month, i was vague in my answers. He said he could offer me a package of unlimited free calls (to any network), unlimited texts, 2 GB of data for ?18 a month (after gauging i spent roughly ?20 a month for my credit). Standard Scammers voice message, saying your Amazon Prime account is to be cancelled and press 1 to speak to subscription manager to stop the cancellation. You get taken to the standard Indian Scammers call centre lol They will ask if you have a iPhone or Android Phone and a laptop of computer, as they want you to download software to your phone and/or computer. I said I had a Linux phone and they hung up lol
