Received a call from this number today, automated voice claiming to be from Amazon to confirm a membership fee of 79.99 has been removed from my account! Total FRAUD and SCAM! This number was 1 of many "001312" commencing numbers which have call for this activity!

My elderly mother had a call from this number today, lucky I was there and answered. They claimed to be from BT saying that as she has been a long term customer they were going to give her a reduced line rental for three months and free internet access, when I asked how do I know that it is BT, they hung up, called 1471 to get the number but when you phone the number a voice tell you the number is not used
I received a call which I answered and was hung up on immediately. I called back straight away and was told the number was not recognised.

This number keeps on ringing me. The first time I got a call from this number I had my phone on silent as I was at work. When I tried to ring them back it says that it is not a valid number. I have not answered this number since I have no idea who they are and why I cannot call them back. Seems very suspicious to me. If you get one I would advise you do not answer.

DANGEROUS SCAM. The Phone rang and caller (a computer) hung up when I didn't speak! This was a computer generated call trying to sniff out voice lines. If you answered "hello" or anything else then the line will be detected as 'a voice line' and you'll likely be called back later by a very clever con-artist! SCAM. I'm almost certain that calls from this number are a scam. They told me they were from Carphone Warehouse and that my phone was due an upgrade (it's not). When I told them that I had a year left on this contract, they told me they would pay off the rest of my contract and upgrade me to the iPhone 13 for £40 a month. I'm currently paying £50 for the iPhone 11, so this seemed a little too good to be true. When I hung up, they tried to ring me back 5 times in the space of 10 minutes.
