This number has called me today 08/11/2018 for 5 times between 10.56 to 12.44 UK time but because I blocked any number started the code +441, it is all rejected.

This number just tried to obtain money from my elderly mother and was asking for ALL her bank details over the phone for some kind of washing machine insurance.

3 unanswered calls in 2 hours today. Blocked subsequent calls....they will be watching this site as well as we all do. Another id shifter, likely to morph quickly into a new number and/or title - now that they are "famous" here!

Saw the random number and predicted immediately it would be an insurance scammer. Sure enough, English sounding girl on the phone asking about recent accident. I told her I don t want to participate in her scam. She paused a few seconds and told me she was just calling from an insurance company (didn t actually say a company name). I told her no she wasn t. It's a scam

I received a phone call from this number, answered and they hung up after a few seconds. Tried calling back, it said the number didn t exist.

Tried a free app called call zapper today! I m sure there s loads similar ones available too! Answer silently (you have to be somewhere quiet!) then press home button and really quickly open the app then hit the FAX button and it plays the fax tone down the line to them! Let s see if it results in my number being deleted from their database! Give it a try and post up here how you get on!! PS It s not my app or anything (!) just sharing something I hope will work! JL

Caller initially claimed to be calling from the University of Sussex, asking me to undertake an online research survey. Then they wanted our email address, and I enquired why was that necessary if the survey was online - all they needed to do was provide me with the web address. The caller later later confirmed they were an independent market research company , and continued to ask for my email address. Of course, I never provided it.

Please note that these scamsters are also using the following number:01670404141. They rang today with exactly the same message.

Foreign accent, someone called Lisa, line breaking up, trying to sell some sort of service.

Obviously been sold my number by IQoption binary trading company. I messed him about for a while, saying I was independently wealthy, he was very persistent, I hung up eventually.
