This caller is quite persistent. I have a number of 'missed calls' from this number as I try not to answer unidentified callers.

Didn t answer but after reading these helpful comments will block them using BT 1572.

This caller Disguised number as local (01227) our area, no voice, suspect robo caller - a hang up call, we are a business I have to answer "local" numbers... incidentally I had a lady from "BT" call me yesterday and very calmly bullishly tell me they were upgrading our line to increase speed (I have nothing to with BT ever, not een a line, "Oh Great! Call from "review team", what review team ?? Eventually said life insurance, after asking several times. Received similar call yesterday different number same Manchester area code. Numbers now blocked

Someone calling from CAMHS which is child and adolescent mental health services. I told her I didn t have anyone at my address below the age of 18 and she must have the wrong number. To which she informed me if she had my number I did! Unfortunately for her I work for YOT and with CAMHS so sent her on her merry way. Very odd and I will be checking this out.?

Back again, they phoned my mobile yesterday and today my landline. Local garage had my contact numbers 2 years ago when I bought a car. In the past has just been postal advertising. The number is in Runcorn so misrepresentation of fact! Answered the phone with what are you selling, told them not to phone again as I don t want to buy a car. Must be a call centre in Runcorn, annoyed that local garage has sold or is using contact details for reasons beyond the original sale!!!

Six times in a week this number has called and as I am on holiday I am charged to answer UK calls and answerphone. It must be an automatic dialer as any sane person would recognise a foreign ringtone.
