Fraud? Scam? Purports to be Amazon advising of possible fraud on account. Did not respond to requests to press 1 or 2 Rang the number back and got Sky 1571 response As the supposed amount was over £1000 I think this should come under the heading fraud. Did not respond or leave message.
I received a call from this number asking for a random name. When I said wrong number he asked me to confirm my number back to him! When I asked him if he would give his number to someone that cold called him he hung up.

Claiming to be calling about my Virgin Media internet provider, I said I was not with Virgin and he immediately hung up. Virgin have told me it was a Scam call.
Weird one, I got a sales call from a Liverpool number to my mobile who seemed just as confused as I was as they swore they actually dialled this number (01517060251). Have absolutely no idea which part of it is a scam. It's definitely weird. Googled the number and nothing came up.

THIS IS A PHISHING SCAM! It was the contact number on a scam email supposedly from 'Kaspersky Total Security', (number given as +???????? (????????????) ????????????-????????????????) email said Kaspersky "sent you an invoice for £539.10 GBP". I am not, and never have been, a customer of Kaspersky, so this was obviously a SCAM! DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINK "VIEW AND PAY INVOICE"!!
They have called me before claiming to be from the Health Department and today I explained that their number was flagged on my system as being reported as a regular nuisance caller. The number has again been reported.

This is BT text service notifying you that soemone has sent a SMS to your home phone number which it will subsequently read if your home phone is not SMS enabled. A pain as it doesn t seem to be limited to reasonable hours. The female caller (with a strange accent) said she representing Star Financial Services in the USA, and claimed they are currently engaged in a hostile takeover of Prudential Plc. so they wanted to buy my shares but first needed me to sign a non-disclosure agreement. They wanted my email address to send the documents. I said no, even tho they had my correct name and home phone number. I googled the company and they only have 5 employees and a non-phone number listed on BBB in the US.
