Claimed to be from a Housing Repair Organisation about the building defects that I had reported. Totally untrue. 100% scam caller.
Difficult to believe they are phoning a 92 year old who has spent the last four years in a care home.

Except I have never given out my mobile number as it is only used as a emergency number for my elderly parents ( who don’t have internet connection) requested that the number is removed from their system. I have stopped answering these suspicious calls for the time being - too busy. As with the one I received at the same time yesterday, when I was having breakfast, I concluded the caller was another criminal trying to persuade me to give them access to my computer so they could infect it. That is because the majority of the calls I get are of that nature. The likelihood was all the greater because, like yesterday s call, it was purportedly from an area where I do not know anyone.

Accident claims experts ...according to their records I had a road accident 2 years ago which left me unable to work!?! Told them I hadn t but if they insist on numerous phone calls to tell me then feel free to send me the compo cheque as I could do with the dosh, at which point they became quite abusive and hung up. I phoned them back gave them a mouthful and told them to take my number off their system which they said they had done. 14 calls in 3 weeks off these muppets so I ve blocked them on this numbe
Virus on my Windows. Managed to keep them on the phone for 43 minutes whilst doing some cleaning. Oh the abuse when everything he asked me to do didn t work.

TAXES / HMRC I just had an automated call from this number where the voice tried to scare you that you are investigated on tax and you will be arrested shortly if you don't speak with the HMRC officer (which they offered to connect with after pressing one).
Had quote from this company, they have made follow up calls and offer to match other quotes! Don't like that idea they shouldoffer their best deal in the first place.
