I got a call this a recorded message saying that it was from HMRC and they had sent a letter to me which had been returned to them and they were about to start a prosecution against e and I should press the 1 keg to speak to an agent. I immediately hung up. This is an old scam which is apparently still doing the rounds.

Claimed to be 02, when asked, couldn't provide me with my own name as it would be "exposing customer information"

Scam!!!! Claiming to be from Debt Solutions. A call 5 mins earlier from an identical number claiming to be Credit Investigations.

Fraud I was phoned from this number informing me lots of money had been taken from my bank account. some from Amazon £300 and a few thousand from an international source

Had a call from this number at 13.30 on 23/02/22. Upon answering i waited for the person to speak first, it was an asian sounding person in a call centre. As soon as they asked how i was today i asked straight out if they were a scammer to which they responded yes they were a scammer and a fraudster followed by oh my god repeated several times. I stated the call should now end and looked online to find number belongs to a sushi bar in London so this number was spoofed/cloned and not the genuine number.

SCAM A female agent called me with Mobile Phone = 07428693956 at 12:02 pm identifying themselves as BT Customer Services and Security. They said their engineer was working on the line and detected an extra IP address registered at my location. Now BT customer services never ring outbound on a mobile, plus IP addresses are allotted by the router and not by the user. This number rang my landline on both 18 and 19 August. Just rang long enough to get me near the phone, but not long enough to pick up - annoying. When I rang the number (from a safe untraceable mobile) I got the recorded message 'Number not in service' ! At best it's spam - at worst it's fraud, so I'll class it as a scam.

Don't know who called me from this number. I jumped out of bed when the phone rang but I didn't pick up as I didn't recognise the number. It was 7:36 am ffs! Even the sun was still in bed where I live in Greater Manchester and I do't even know where Thanet is, never mind why someone from there would be phoning me at an ungodly hour. I highly suspect this was a scam call.

This guy is a scammer. You pay a ‘deposit’ then he hits you with the ‘delivery fee’ that’s was never mentioned. He’s not even in your local area.

SPAM Picked up the phone to be addressed as babe. Asked him not to refer to me like this and asked who he was. Refused to tell me who he was as I didn’t need to know, only that he knew me. Refused to tell me why he was calling then hung up.

And yet once again fraudsters and BT earned money off the backs of those being harassed by these fraudsters screwing over the people BT aid and abet in their criminal activities giving them the means to con people out of their hard-earned cash whilst the Police and the Government make out they are doing something but doing Sweet FA about it like being F**ked over three times in a row once by the Telecommunication companies that earn money from criminal and the people that are getting ripped off by them
