SCAM Call This is a scam number. It is a Broadband scam. They a message first states your broadband is being hacked and has large actvities being undertaken on the broadband. It then askes you to press 1 to talk to someone in the technical team. I pressed 1 and a man with an indian accent stated that i should get my computer so he can guide me on what to do to rid the broadband hackers. I hung up the phone on this request.

This is a debt collection company. Often long term or aging debt is sold and the purchasing collection agency makes profit by aggressively chasing that debt. They use any data they can get to bug you typically to begin with by using automated dialers and recorded style messages. They do not check the age of the data or if they do they ignore it. I have been receiving several calls a week from this number to my mobile phone, home number and office number. They either say they are from "Trading Banks" or a market research company in Taiwan.
