Fraud Call claimed to checking on possible fraudulent payments from a bank card (one to Amazon, and one international), and inviting me to press 1 to continue. But as it was left on answering machine this could not be done. No card provider specified and they didn't address me by name. On checking, no such payments have been made from any of my cards.

07401878848 is a mobile phone number at an indian call centre, i traced it back through the network. Someone pretending to be from amazon stating that my details have been used to order some high value items and that to cancel it i would have to do as they instructed. They wanted remote access to my computer/tablet/phone so they could steal my data. The idiots didn't realise that they had phoned an it company. when i informed them of their mistake they hung up.

SCAM called to discuss damp problems reported in my property, I don’t have damp issues and have never reported any problems. I own my own property so knew immediately that this was a scam, talked to them long enough to get the gist of what they were trying to do before hanging up.
Some pre recorded computer voice voicemail message (I don't answer any number I don't know) something it said "case which is going to be filed against you our letter got returned please press one to avoid legal actions I" then it cut off. Blocked the number especially as its a mobile number.. Hate the sickos that do this especially as someone who suffers with severe anxiety what is wrong with the people that do this..
Scam caller claiming to be from Virgin. The call was made by an official sounding call centre (the woman sounded Indian). Getting so fed up with calls from this number, and others including what appear as mobiles, telling me that my "home appliance insurance" with them has expired, or is about to expire, and asking for my bank details so that it can be renewed. Very strange that the company insuring me (they're not, of course) has no idea what appliances I have. Calls coming 2-4 times each day.

Think it’s a scammer on FB, has hacked into an account on there and pretending to be a widower living in Bedford. The phone is being used in the Preston area. I have blocked before he tries to extract money from me. He will not send current face photo with today’s date in his hand so I know it is a scammer. The FB profile hacked looks very American not Uk. Had a voicemail from this no. (very scripted). Northern Gas & Power trying to sell energy. I don't think it's a scam (and if legit their reviews on trustpilot seem reasonable). That said it was an unsolicited sales call, and I don't look after the gas and electricity anyway!

Mobile phone spam / scam / fraud. Scammers pretend to call from Currys Mobile department. They will sign you up on a completely different deal than agreed initially with the most expensive phone available. They use several phone numbers some of them on Whatsapp. Also will e-mail an order confirmation from an address that seems genuine. It's not. After receiving the parcel they will try to convince you to send the phone back to some shady residential address. Avoid!
