Said they were from AA Drainage, offering me a reduction on my yearly cover + a free drain scan, I said I don’t have cover with them, never answered me but kept on about this wonderfull offer, pressed him again about my cover as I’m with the gas board for my drains cover (never told him this though) again he went on about the offer, then hung up. Although their is a company named AADrainage in the East of Scotland I feel this call is not from them, therefore a scam to get money out of people. The number 02

Pre-recorded msg, no company name just that I was due £1000 refund on my pension in next month - press 5 to start process - best just to put phone down.
My number has been ghosted, spoofed, cloned, call it what you will, it is not me, its probably scammers or cold callers, I will always leave a message if it was me who called and certainly wont hang up after two rings.

They ring up every week asking if you?ve updated your gas and electric meters to smart meters. I have with another company but if I say that they go on to ask about who it?s with etc. Don?t know about trustworthiness or not because I?ve never heard of their company other than them calling me. I tell them I?m not interested and they still call. Now I just hang up. Automated voice saying that I would be arrested for fraudulent activity to do with my national insurance number. They wanted me to press 1 to speak to an officer - I chose not to because I was concerned I would get charged. When the message ended, the call ended. Definitely Fraud/SCAM.
