Many calls during the day. Some unanswered. When I did get to speak to someone, they asked for Mr John living at a completely different address. I told them it wasn t me and they hung up immediately. On subsequent calls, I kep asking them to stop as I am not mr John. They just hang up. I m on TPS and ex-directory.
Just had a call from this number stating I am being investigated for ‘tax fraud’ and to press 1 (to possibly drain the life out of my contract bill) obviously a scam and the voice was automated sounded like a robot.
They told me that they are from Boost Energy (I m not sure) and talked me about prepaid smart meter, cheap tariffs and other stuff. I ll call my supplier if I want change my current offer.
