Yet another unsolicited text message trying to get me to engage with them ref PPI claims.
This number called saying, in a computerised American voiced message, that it claimed to be from HMRC, that I was under investigation and that I had to call another number to pay. Definitely a scam.
SCAM continues to harass our phone since March 2021! Fortunately, unable to get through since we have BT's Do Not Disturb on 24x7.

SCAM text claiming to be from NHS saying close contact with a positive test person, gives a link to follow for a “free” test kit but asks for postage therefore your bank details
SCAM. By saying they are disconnecting this line tomorrow. Press 1 to speak to is. I put phone down. Think if you press 1 you’d get charged £100 per minute! (Or whatever the premium is)

SCAM I leave my answerphone on permanently for call screening. This number called this morning and the recorded message must have started before the answerphone greeting had finished with the result that I only got a very small part of the message left. Something about billing. So obviously a scam. Number now barred. By coincidence I had a very similar call earlier from 020249714939. Probably the same idiots. Also barred
02 Dec 2021 - called repeatedly - using terms such as my friend or my lover. Lots of call centre noise in the back ground, all saying different things to different callers. Never found out what they wanted. Asked them to remove me from their data base three times. Reply
They re not UK numbers, so UK authorities have no jurisdiction over where or who they are.
