How do we stop this unjustified, annoying, harrasing type of call? They should be punished punitively and the money paid to those who receive their nuisance calls.

Obvious call centre noise background noise as soon as I answered, with a delay before anyone responded. The caller had an extremely strong Asian/Indian accent and told me his name was Paul Simon (yeah, right!) calling from Norfolk County Council about a recent accident I d had. I told him I hadn t been involved in an accident, he said it must have been a family member (I live alone, but didn t tell him that), I repeated that he was wrong and asked who he thought had been in the accident. Sick of this lot calling and then leaving a long blank voicemail and just voices in the background. Have blocked several numbers from this lot and I am registered with the preference service so they are acting illegal too

called and left a voicemail for my mum (she owns the 3uk contract account for my phone)and asked her to call them back on the same number. seems a bit suspicious to me though because they have never called before even when we were behind on a payment, other people said all they hear is silence which wouldnt happen for official 3uk customer advisors calling people and the woman was barely understandable - she was obviously an indian call centre person
