SCAM / SPAM Prerecorded message claiming "a criminal case has been registered against your name". Did not listen to the remainder of the message and hung up as this is clearly a scam.

SCAM - claiming to be from a phone blocking service. Wanted my debit card expiry date. Already had some personal information (out of date thankfully but I didn't tell them that!)
This number just called me. Person knew my surname. Said he was calling on behalf of Savill Row suits who were re-launching themselves. Asked how often I buy suit tailor made or off the peg. Requested my email to forward information about the new launch of company.

Paypal scam - posing as a Gumtree buyer . He/she will reply to anything you have for sale on gumtree. They send you a text but then ask you to reply to a moody email address. The one they gave me was [email?protected] and the number they used was +44 141 280 7229. Clearly foreign (poor use of English) and also clearly retarded - lack of understanding of gramma and spelling. Stay well away.

Scam call claiming to be from Amazon Prime. A recorded robotic message saying that your Amazom Prime account will be automatically renewed for 39.99 from your bank account, no mention of pounds, just 39.99. If you want to cancel then press 1.
I rang this number as parcel not delivered by Hermes as arranged. Matter was dealt with very efficiently and courteously.
This number called me then when I tried to return there was 'dialled an inccorect number' message. Not sure what it was or is.

Scam text purporting to be from British Gas saying they have made an appointment for me. I did not respond but then had several texts on the day they said the appt had been made saying they were on their way but might be late! No-one turned up I'm pleased to say. I didn't click any links so don't know what the scam is about - probably an information phishing expeditiion - but it is very clever and needs to be exposed.
