this is a SCAM, they call disguised as a debt collector via a mobile saying you owe money for a High Court Writ and they will call at a given time so its best you pay immediatley. Its a scam.
I'm not too certain about the caller, as he started off by saying both my Company name & personal name, & he'd obviously "done his homework" as when I asked him who was calling, he said the name of my provider. Unfortunately he spoke at the speed of sound, so when I asked, he said he'd speak slower, but then the line disconnected, so I didn't get to find out whether the caller was genuine or not. Repeated calls from this number. I finally answered. They knew my name (first name) and claimed to be from a company I couldn't understand the name of despite repeated requests for them to repeat it. They said they were calling to review my life policies. On the basis my life policies are with a company whose name sounds nothing like what they said, I told them I have no policies with them. The caller paused, said thank you and hung up.

Called me up (I was selling a motorbike on aurtotrader), said he was keen on the bike (only having seen the ad). Then asked for my bank details to pay me a deposit. At the time I thought that was ok, but on reflection why would he give a deposit on a bike he hadn't seen? Also wanted to do it in a hurry, so something not quite right. Not saying a scam, could be innocent but felt a bit weird.

Caller said they were from "Microsoft Corporation". They asked for information about my computer, telling me that they knew there was a problem. I kept them talking by asking questions. The caller got angrier and told me that they would be "seeing me tomorrow" before ringing off.

Scammers pretending to be from Three contacting ex customers of Three for final payments. Threes payment number is 0800 033 8033 so it is close. Three send final bills by email so no need to contact anyone from an 0800 number.
