Fraud, possibly; automated recorded call from 'your bank' re a supposed transaction overseas this morning (I put the phone down quickly.)

SCAM automated message saying from National Crime Agency and they are going to suspend my National Insurance number!

SCAM Pretending to be from curry's pc world, demanding to know who my phone provider is when told I was not disclosing who my provider was as it was nothing to do with them they hung up

silent call from this number. web search indicates its a scam caller named matthew calling about loft insulation with over 200 complaints in last couple of days. reported to Ofcom, TPS and Info commissioners office.

SCAM, Threatening call; prerecorded message saying, court action if I don’t respond. HMRC was mentioned…. Now blocked!

SCAM My wife received an automated call form this number to her mobile advising her that she would soon be arrested in connection with tax avoidance. The voice asked her to "press 1" to speak to someone about it. Clearly a scam of some sort.

SCAM. I am getting a lot of practice in ignoring these calls. I am getting very fed up with the amount I get. Still, good practice for my patience levels.

Fraud – non-specific bank claiming that money had been taken from one of our cards and had been transferred abroad. Checked all cards and no transactions matching the amount specified have been attempted to be taken from account. Didn’t press any buttons on phone and call just ended after a few seconds.

Clear scam. Do not answer. Claim to be VISA checking if a £600 online purchase is valid. Asks you to press 1 to talk to an adviser. Not sure what would happen if you pressed 1 but it would not be good. Same automated call received earlier in the day from a totally different number.

Call from man (no gentleman) with Indian accent who claimed to be from Microsoft Technical Department. When I jokingly replied that I was from Microsoft fraud department he ranted down the phone at me for 15 minutes in abusive language before he eventually hung up. I have had scam calls before but this one was downright offensive.

SCAM / SPAM - Enquiry whether we had any debt and offering to help. Had my wife's name, though I wonder from where. Wanted to argue that this was not a cold call, then rang off.

SCAM. Insurance claim related scam. Claiming to be on behalf of Aviva. Rang from a similar number that I had blocked previously. Rang on Christmas Day on a special number that I have that noone knows about outside a small circle of family members (hence my answering thinking it was a Scottish family member - Glasgow number), so they must be getting number to call from EE direct as they asked for me by name. Worrying.

SCAM call pretending to be from "Virgin Media technical department" but using the old pretend Microsoft scam favourite wording. The 'phone number is almost certainly spoofed.

SCAM I answered this number today and after around 5 seconds of silence, was played a recorded message saying something about my National Insurance number being involved with some fraud. It then said to resolve this issue PRESS 1. at which point I hung up.
