Have been away for work reasons for 2 days - just got to 11 missed calls in 2 days! Rang nimber back and spoke to hammonds customer ordering - told them asking for a brochure was a huge mistake and now wont be placing an order! And to remove me from database!

PRA Group. Call consistently. However they always ask you to confirm your details which Im not prepared to do. They need to be open and introduce themselves. Otherwise block them. Take there number and call them bk. At least you are in control of the situation and able to discuss things. Knowing that they are who they say they are. Never give your details out. They could be anybody.

Said he was from an IT company that I had used recently, when I asked where he got my number from overrode my questions saying he had got it from a database and continued saying I had used one of there services recently. Told him my number was on TPF and he replied not interested and it didn t concern him what I was on. I answered today and said the same thing - so checked what information they had on my address etc, and have the correct address, have asked for the information, and will check it out when I receive it. I asked where they had obtained my information from and he said from an online form I had completed, and as I have recently, this would seem feasible, as the databases are available to purchase in the telemarketing world. They called - used a name for me which I have not used for 6 years and then was very rude to me when I pointed this out!

Received a call from this number but as I answered they hung up - I was expecting an engineer to call so called the number back thinking it might be the engineer but instead got a automated voice asking about accidents. A scam to get you to call a premium number.

Caller claimed to be from a government department in reference to an accident 18 months ago, and persisted even when I said our number was registered with the TPS. Fairly threatening, saying that if I didn t cooperate my son might be in trouble because his file would remain open .

just received a call from them. they addressed me with my sir name. I asked them what it is regarding? Guy replied he can t tell me anything until I confirm my all details due to data protection act. Just hanged up the phone.
