same here got a call from them. They hung up and then when I called back the number does not exist.

If you tried to ring it back and it said the number hasn t been recognised, then it doesn t exist and is a scam.

Disturbing call

I got a call from this number claiming to be the HMRC. When I questioned them saying it does not sound legitimate he asked why I was wasting their time. I would guess this is a bogus call.

Constantly calling asking for my partner on my personal phone, unsure how they ve got my number and his name but it s beginning to fuck me off. Keep telling them to remove it, still getting calls atleast once a day. They don t get as far to tell me what shit they re trying to sell me, I think the first call was insurance of some sort.. Call Centre claiming, by shouting in bad English to be Worldpay. I slammed the phone down.

Another Vanquis number. The company keep calling me but asking for someone else whom I have never heard of. Despite being told (eventually) that they will remove my number, they always call again, usually from another number.

Phoned and asked to speak to me on my work mobile by my birth name (which i never use) and said the nature of his call was regarding my road traffic accident - after asking for them to remove my details he proceeded to say i sounded "well fit, so i suppose..." and i hung up.. block block block!

After doing an online insurance comparison on go compare, they call 2 or 3 time in quick succession until you answer. They are just following up your quotation, but if I do a comparison on line, it s because I don t want the hassle of talking to people like this on the phone. Ironically, they were the cheapest quote but it did put me off a little. I ve still got 2 days to decide and will probably go with them so they don t really need to be doing these "follow up" calls.
