My wife got a call from this No today, the usual PPI scam. They said the are phoning because my wife agreed to take part in some lifestyle survey, utter lies & bollocks. Have now blocked their number via the new BT FREE call blocking

Had a missed call alert from this number as above. Answerphone also said AM Legal so sounds like a cold call. If you have option to block I would recommend doing so!
It s 0371 231 3113 (no zero) as per your other post, and an online search suggests it s Hughes TV and Audio in Suffolk.

This number called today and I didn t have time to Google it before answering. Said they were from American Express, only asked for half my postcode and they knew the type of card I held and how long I have had it. Why has this number been used by a scam operator purporting to be from Amazon?
Indian/Pakistani sounding clearly calling from a call centre not in the U.K. as he had me on speaker phone and could hear him speaking with someone else as I answered the call. He asked for someone I don’t know. I told him I didn’t know the person and he got rude and aggressive with me before hanging up. I’ve blocked the number.
