Last week I bought a BT BT8500 Advanced Call Blocker phone and it works a treat. I am not connected with BT in any way but I can highly recommend this phone. It will keep a log of the calls it blocks and this number called me today but the phone blocked it and it didn t ring. Peace at last!!
This number appears to be local but isn't. When the 'phone is answered the caller cuts off the call but then calls daily. Each time it calls I ignore it but it's still a nuisance call
SCAM Automated voice message saying I have been a victim of tax fraud and had to press 1 to connect the call through to HMRC otherwise the fraud would be registered in my name and I would be arrested soon!! Luckily I am not gullible but I'm sure this would trick a lot of less suspicious people.
