Called claiming to be Curry’s Pc World acting on behalf of network providers giving customers better deals. Phoned Curry’s to check legitimacy and they informed me this is definitely a scam as they don’t even have an outbound sales call team anymore and don’t act under the Currys Pc World name anymore, just ‘Curry’s’.

Fraud Spoofed Caller Line ID (CLI) by a company called Buy It Direct Ltd. Registered number 04171412. Registered office: Unit A Trident Business Park, Leeds Road, Huddersfield, England. Suspected reason for spoofing their number is they leave you a message (probably regarding a purchase you made) and want you to call back. Over the last two weeks there have been a number of High Wycombe calls, which are trying to con you about Amazon prime, silence, or a annoying hiss. This particular call is an annoying hiss. I have collected about 16 numbers in this time period of the same ilk.
Second call in 2 days. Appears to be An Amazon Prime scam. Delay on the phone line, then message kicked in regarding renewal of Amazon Prime and to press button 1 to speak to service manager. Hung up as I don’t have Amazon Prime.

Very slick, found out where my child goes and said 'headmaster will call you yo thank you'......then start pressurising payment over the phone and calling back daily. Put another person on the phone when she got flustered, male then started asking me my security question, what model of phone I had, mt network provider was etc. SCAM - avoid!! Trying to hack into my details. Do NOT give any details to this caller!!

Keep on receiving here in Canada phone calls from numbers like this from UK, impersonating people from DELL computers, asking a three-questions survey.
SCAM Called on my mobile @ 20.00hrs. A Northampton dial code. Caller when questioned was from "the Philipines" looking to see if I qualify for "home insulation" funding. When asked how my phone number was accessed the caller hung up. Had this not been a recognised dial code I would not have answered the call. number now blocked. Also appears on missed calls list from yesterday @ 12.58hrs.
