Suspicious of those who will not leave a message and Dorset is a high scam area in the UK. Better to be cautious.

I am being bombarded with insurance claims calls at the moment to my mobile phone that I use for business calls. This number has rung me twice, 1 week apart and nobody has been on the end of the line. TPS have registered my number so I should not be getting silent calls.

Called me but no one spoke

This number 0131287730809 identifies it as Amazon Prime Membership renewal. It then offers 'press one' to cancel the membership. I use Amazon, but I'm not a Prime member so I pressed one to cancel. A foreign gentleman answered and I told him that I hadn't joined Prime and to return my money. After a few minuets of him saying he will send a refund form for me to fill in my details I declined he got abusive and went on repeat " I like F......g your daughter every night you A.....e, to which I hung up

Crackly line, called at 7pm saying I d been in a car accident that wasn t my fault (which isn t true), someone called Natasha, couldn t get the name of the company even after asking twice. She hung up as soon as I started speaking with "No..." Annoying disruption of my evening!!

I had letters and calls from Taurus which I stupidly ignored. I was taken to Court and at the hearing a hearing a gentleman advised me to discuss debt issues. He said Taurus Debt Recovery have a lot of account holders on benefits and they have a friendly and supportive team. I would encourage anyone with debts with them to talk to Taurus. If you don t contact them they will issue court claims and or issue bankruptcy.

Said they were calling from Domestic and General - a company we do have an account with already. Said we were a valued customer and had qualified for a discount. Said we were already covered for our TV Satellite equipment etc. We knew this was incorrect. They said we were already paying £10 by DD. Not True. company called lifestyle - will ask you to do numerous surveys and dont like it when you say no thank you - very pushy and rude indian gentleman on the other end of the line - they use a few different numbers - DONT ANSWER THE PHONE - they will just keep calling
