This is a scam number. Automated call received claiming to be from HMRC and regarding tax fraud. The automated call makes threat about arrest for not paying tax! Asks to press 1 to continue with the call. I am certain if you press 1 then you will be connected to a premium rate number and will be charged hundreds of pounds (may be even thousands).

Called me at a1049 on 6th October 2020. Saying inland revenue are chasing me for tax evasion and I should ring back on this number, definitely do not ring them. This is a hoax. Inland revenue do not make these types of calls. You will be charged at premium rates and be kept in the phone, while you get a huge bill for that call.

A pestilent fake American accent telling me my Amazon Prime sub is to be renewed. I have no interest in Amazon Prime and find thius sort of intrusion completely unacceptable. Twice today so far. SCAM Caller said they were from Amazon and that I would have a high payment charged monthly (£79.99) unless cancelled and the caller was going to "help me" cancel my Amazon Prime subscription. After some arguing (as she tried to get me to stay on the line), I hung up and checked Amazon website going through their online chatbot. they hang up immediately when I answer. No way to know who are them, maybe trading, maybe SCAM, maybe someone with nothing to do... For sure, this number it used by an office or voip , they dnt have any other social profile like whatsapp or viber..
Poor reception where I was when I answered so they couldn't hear me, but they knew my name, eventually they hung up. I rang the number back later and immediately heard an automated message saying my custom was important to them and I would be answered by the next available agent but no-where in the message did they reveal who they were so hung up.
Yet another recorded message supposedly from Amazon about Amazon Prime. I have blocked number, I get these about one every other week or so
