This is Warner marketing company. Line stayed silent but called back and the message stated Warner and that it was regarding taking part in a marketing survey.
This is a suspected nuisance call. On picking up there was a recorded message asking for verification details. I immediately put the phone down. I have had a couple of calls from another Bridgend number in the last few weeks. 01656 723940 seems to belongs to a Mr Steven Walters of Dennis Place, Bryncethin, Bridgend. If so he needs to know it is illegal to call anyone who is TPS registered.

Just got ANOTHER call from 01412020404. (Boiler replacement scheme) Followed instructions to speak to someone there to ask them to remove my name from their list, as I am registered with the Telephone Preference scheme. Guy there refused to do it. I asked him for the name of the company and he said it was "Green Shield". I asked to speak to a supervisor there but he would not let me. I asked him his name. I have been called several times yesterday back to back from firstly a London number twice, then twice from private number and this one today. They all start by saying am I ****** when I ask who they are they mumble something then ask me if I own or rent my property. The person who called today was female and I could actually understand what she said, except for the initial mumble. The first two London calls where listed as suspected spam, however, some of calls in this category have been bona fide.

SCAM The caller, who had an African accent, said that he was calling from Microsoft because they had noticed I had downloaded a lot of Malaysias viruses. He then asked whether my computer was on and if I was using. When I suggested that he seemed to have my details and that he send me a mail, he hung up.
Answered call, no one on other end, then they hung up... maybe wanting to get my name first if you answer calls like I do.

These guys are a chartered accounts firm called renatas. they call and sound official in regards to business rate relief they make out like they are calling on behalf of the council and you need to take there service. stay away as you can get a rates relief by calling the council yourself. don t trust these cowboys.
