Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1618144xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI claims, financial services, insurance marketing. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...

Received a call saying I was owed £3850 from a previous PPI claim (which had already been settled). Indian gentleman said he was Alex Carter from the County Court of London, 227 The Strand. I had a subsequent call from Francis Anderson, same voice, same tone, probably the same person. I was told to hand over iTunes vouchers for £150 when the cheque would be hand delivered to me. I received a call from this number saying they where International Wine. Said I had filled in a survey 18 months ago. When told was not interested the women just hung up. 1471 gave me the number so I rang back, got the say woman, told her how rude she had been and my number to be taken from their list. I them received a further 5 calls with no one answering, informed them the number would be reported.

Cold caller showing as "international", the person refered to me by name and asked me to confirm who he was speaking to (My reply was to ask in what regards), the regards was to an accitent I had within the last year, with no detail to the accident I had ( of which there was none), so I hung up. THey rang back straight after but I hung up again.
This number called on 06.07.21 at 8.45. I did not answer. When I called back – got the following message: “This number has changed to...”. This is used for scam. I will report and block every of these calls.
