SCAM - a recorded message claiming to be from the national crime office stating that my National Insurance number has been associated with various crimes (or some such drivel). Who would have thought the national crime office were using a plain old 3 network number instead of a private number? Not the first time I've heard from these twits. Number now blocked.

Had a Puppy from Shoreham Pet Rescue, Charlie came with FREE 4 weeks insurance from PetPlan, I was told if you Do Not want to continue with the insurance, Just do nothing, and it will be cancelled, PetPlan has rang me for 2 weeks Twice a day, IT IS JUST SELLS,now I know it is PetPlan, I WILL answer the call next, and tell them NO to insurance for Charlie, That should Stop the calls.? Lady with a Swedish accent phoned my number asking for my daughter by her full name. I said that is my daughter what is this about? She then went on to ask if we know about the european laws reguarding crypto currency and I realised it was probably a scam and hung up to google the number and found it listed 6 times on a swedish number look up website.

I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Re The failed bank payment, the bank itself stopped this money and when I spoke to my bank it was decided that the £149 seemed high for an anti viral program and there was a possibility of fraud. This is a new number for Utilita, which has been using different numbers to market energy provision aggressively. Elsewhere, on different numbers, this company has generated a lot of complaints. So, I?m guessing it?s only a matter of time before the complaints ratchet up here. Don?t know where they got my number - certainly never asked them to call.
