Fraud? Scam? Purports to be Amazon advising of possible fraud on account. Did not respond to requests to press 1 or 2 Rang the number back and got Sky 1571 response As the supposed amount was over £1000 I think this should come under the heading fraud. Did not respond or leave message.

This number is from AO.COM (Appliances on Line) and is likley to be with regard to a recent purchase and/or expired warranty of an applicance such as a Fridge, Dishwasher, Washing Machine etc. They will try to sell you an extened warranty etc

Weird one, I got a sales call from a Liverpool number to my mobile who seemed just as confused as I was as they swore they actually dialled this number (01517060251). Have absolutely no idea which part of it is a scam. It's definitely weird. Googled the number and nothing came up.

Told them I wasn t interested, didn t have a call for a week or so and now they re off again! This is definately NOT RAC because I ve checked the number with them! Had a call this morning from a man claiming to work for a company called "First Pass", asking about an RTA I was supposed to have been involved in. I asked how he got my details and requested that they be deleted from their data-base. I have never been in an RTA, and am on TPS to prevent cold-callers. He persisted in trying to obtain more information from me and when I refused to answer, he hung up. If they call again, I shall report them to Ofcom.
I hadn t read comments until I told a friend of mine i had been for a hearing test around 5 month ago, and he advised me to read them. To my amazement its the same company i had dealt with. Sonia was polite on the initial call when asking criteria questions and when i declined to confirm my d.o.b she was happy for me to confirm this on the day. Last week i collected a cheque for just over £5,900. These guys are just doing their job, we know endless calls can be a nightmare. Keep up the good work.

This number is not secure, it is scammers pretending to be from O2, offering a 50% discount off your monthly bill. Tempting, obviously. They say a text will be sent to confirm this, followed by another text with a code to activate the offer. They will then ask you to repeat the code to them BUT doing this will allow them to take control over your account and possibly other info on your phone. Something didn't feel right so when they rang back for the code I didn't answer but googled O2 scams. Beware.
