I received a call from this number, when I answered they hung up, however the call seemed to continue. I think this is some sort of scam.

It is one of those days.....I have had three of these calls in one morning when exceptionally busy. Criminals make up these numbers - all fake and nearly always different - to call me to try to persuade me to fall for their story that there is something wrong with my computer or internet connection. Their aim is to persuade me to believe their lies and allow them to infect it with something that would be very serious if I fell for their story that they represent Talk Talk or B.T. It varies. Called on Sat.19/9. Said it would take 2 mins. to do a survey. I agreed, but after c.6 mins. I told the Far Eastern-sounding man that his time was up and put the phone down. They then phoned back in ten mins and 1 hour later, but I didn t answer the phone. Accomplished liars irritants and time-wasters.

I have searched this number on another site and there have been many searches and reports. The calls are hostile. When information not given they swear and terminate the call. I had call from this number today and answer machine picked up. No message. I m glad I didn t take the call as would have been upset at the hostility. Scam or fishing. This number is dangerous to vulnerable people.
