Microsoft scammers trying to gain remote access

I am a few days late with a payment to Very so the credit company (shop direct) repeatedly phone my home and mobile. They still ring even though I ve explained the situation and paid half the monthly amount and have agreed to pay the other half in a weeks time. I just don t answer the phone now.

IDK who is calling from this number. I don't know anyone from this area.

Number rang, person introduced himself as Tom, said ‘er’ about three tones then said he was calling back to speak about a government incentive scheme then hung up the phone

Missed a call, called back & an answering machine started saying something about recording my voice...immediately ended the call!!

They call through the exchange using a local number so the number changes

If this company calls, it is an unsolicited sales call, tell them you will raise an invoice for wasting your time and if they don t pay will see them in small claim court.

This number calls frequently but when answered I just hear background office chatter before the phone goes dead... We deal with a lot of media based in London so tend to answer 0207/0208 numbers routinely. I ve now put the number on the blocked calls list.

This number [0191 695 258] is spoofed (fraudulent) and invalid (one digit short). Probably the same ars*holes who are using 0191 695 257 - see the comments on that number also. ...
