Number 01782146044 called me and said they were from my bank but did not say which bank because they would not have know which banks I deal with. The recorded message said that money £600 was going to disappear from my account within 15 minutes. I hung up the phone and blocked the number as it was obviously a spam call. I have about 6 similar calls over the last month or so from different numbers each time and I have blocked them all. Thankfully no money disappeared unexpectably from any account.

Scam call claiming to be British Gas regarding our electricity renewal - caller didn't sound professional, was in an overseas call centre by the sounds of it, didn't know the account holders name and said he couldn't give me a contact number to call them back on, he has to call me directly apparently.... took me about 10 seconds to find the renewal department contact number online so I'm confused why he said he couldn't give me one.
They asked if I was Mr ..... I asked who was calling and they hung up. Very rude and unprofessional - didnt give me a chance to tell them to go away. ;-(

this person called used the name of the person who answered ( my dad ) and when he questioned who he was the caller slammed the phone down.. re trace gave the number of 01271 42169 but when we rang it back it says it doesnt exist. Fraud SCAM Called me pretending to be from Amazon saying that someone had ordered an iPhone on my account. They then managed to trigger the Amazon reset password text message and pressured me to give me that code to them, presumably so that they could take control of my Amazon account. Got quite upset when I refused to give them the code

Recorded message from the 'Bank Security centre' (apparently one bank security centre for all the banks....) reporting unusual card activity, £300 to Amazon & £1000 internationally, press 1 to cancel, 2 to speak to operative...
