Scam and/or phishing attempt. It attempted to get me to message the phone number via WhatsApp. The person had sent an SMS from another number (07566706069) claiming to have dropped their phone down the toilet and that they’d instantly acquired a new phone. They asked me to message specifically via WhatsApp (???). This is the fourth message I’ve had this week, from a variety of unknowns, being asked to message a new number by someone claiming to have lost/damaged their phone.
Said some letter was forwarded back to the sender and there will be some legal action taken against me. I have no idea what this is about

Indian male called Alex purporting to be from BT telling me I had a problem with my internet and they were getting urgent error signals. I knew it was a hoax call, had them before, so asked him twice what the signals were and he put the phone down. I googled the number that came up, 01438 318251 and its for a homeless shelter in Stevenage. Indian scammers using business numbers for those that really need help! Sick b$%^A$%s!

It is an automatic voice that claims to be from "your bank" saying it has suspicious activity - asking you to click a button to verify or speak to someone. I hung up. SCAM Numerous calls from this number in the evening, as lage as 21:47, advising my father they could repay overpaid timeshare fees, unfortunately he gave out his card details, £4,500 taken from his account, changed his details and they rang again obviously for up to date info to start taking money again, this time he said I would call them back, they gave him a fake number to call back onSCAM
keep getting a call from this number saying its from amazon saying my subscribe scripture has run out and that they have taking 95 pounds out my bank when l know very well it has not and no money has come out my bank had it call me 3 times in the past 24 hours
Called me 6 times in the past 3 weeks. I have missed all the calls as they happened when I am working. They have never left me a message which makes me assume either dodgy or cold calling. After reading other people's comments below I have blocked the number - if it is green peace as some suggest then I have no idea how they have got my number. I have never donated to Greenpeace however I may well have signed petitions but I don't think you usually give out your phone number when you sign a petition
