Called today and left voicemail supposedly from my bank about suspicious credit card transactions, one £300 at Amazon and one £1,100 with an international currency transfer service. It is a scam - fraud office of bank does not phone and leave a pre-recorded message!
Also the sender is in Russia.. on yer bike matey.
Somehow the call lead to money being deducted from my account
HMRC fake. Also aggressive answer phone asking me to talk to an agent (press1) or before legal action taken. I don't care if they are the real HMRC, send me a letter or deliver notice by plod.

SCAM Robocall left partial message on my answerphone saying their fraud department had noticed a suspicious charge for £800 on my Visa card for online gambling in America. They had put the transaction on hold and if I wanted to reject the charge to press 1 and speak to their fraud department. Clearly a scam as I have no Visa cards.
SPAM Number matches that of an estate agent in London (I live in north Scotland and am not buying or selling a house anywhere in the UK). Did not leave message.

10/03/22 at 10.37am. I answered with hello. A man said; "I'm fine and if somebody has complained about me I'm fine. Goodbye" He then hung up. He sounded angry. I have no idea what this call was about. To-date (in the 27 years I have had this number) I have never had a 'wrong number' type of call, as far as I am aware it is not similar to any local business/official numbers!

Fraud A banking scam - purporting to be TSB and checking fraudulent transactions. Almost convinced us to give standing orders and direct debit details, and had confirmed a couple of transaction. Phoned me. Background noise suggested I was being called from an overseas call centre. Caller had an Asian accent. When I started to ask where her company was based she replied “ Manchester”. When I asked further questions she put the phone down on me. Suspicious.

Do you need any hacking service? you want to recover what you lost to scammers? you need a blank atm with minimum of $20,000 withdrawal limit and maximum of $500,000 ? you want to spy on your partners phone or social medias?
It’s a scam. It’s a person that will tell you it’s renting an apartment and you have to pay in advance. Don’t fall for that scam.

He told me the usual nonsense about my computer but I told him that I was not interested as I had got rid of my computer because of these scam phone calls.
