Man with good English African voice, knew my first name and claimed to be from my property repairs. Clearly he was a liar as he had no connection to my area nor the my property ownership.

Don't know who called me from this number. I jumped out of bed when the phone rang but I didn't pick up as I didn't recognise the number. It was 7:36 am ffs! Even the sun was still in bed where I live in Greater Manchester and I do't even know where Thanet is, never mind why someone from there would be phoning me at an ungodly hour. I highly suspect this was a scam call.
Pretending to be from O2 and they send a text message to your mobile with a six digit code in, do not give them this code. Hang up and inform O2 immediately.
This number purports to send messages from Gov.uk, offering energy rebates. My wife pays the electricity bill not me so I was very suspicious when I was saved for my energy company and then the card details with which the company was paid. Pretty sure it is a scam

This number is from scammers in Birmingham wanting your bank details to repay you home appliance warranty overpayments that do not exist. Usually get three to four calls per week from same people using different numbers. I have been telephoned this afternoon – apparently by EE – to tell me that I was getting a 45% discount on my bill for the next year? I was then passed on to a supervisor to confirm my email address – which I did. They then said that they would email me and I would need to change the password to EEdefault19: at this point I told the caller I would hang-up.
Call center - This is one of many similar numbers contacting me on my mobile and stating they are from O2 offering a 40% discount. Possibly a scam but also could be genuine. Unsure so always blocked and reported. Always ask for my number to be flagged to avoid constant calling but hasn't worked so far.
