Automated SCAM call apparently from HMRC for tax evasion and to press 1 to connect to an agent. Don't fall for this SCAM.
SCAM - I received an evident scam or fraud SMS text from this number on 30 June 2023, with a quite convincing message beginning “Morning mum”, and asking me to message back on another UK mobile number. Interestingly, RF President Putin was reported to be visting Dagestan [where this phone number originates?] yesterday.

A silent call from one of a block of numbers. As fast as one number is blocked another is used. So far 10 different numbers from the block ranging from numbers ending 763 to 776. Regularly getting 2 or 3 a day. If they are from 3 network then Ofcom need to investigate
I haven’t answered this call yet as I tend to not answer calls where I don’t recognise the number - I figure if it’s important they’ll leave a voicemail. I was getting consistent calls from another number in the same area as this one which I blocked yesterday, and now today I’ve already had two calls from this number in the same area. Scam tried to rip my 94 yr old mother off by offering a pendant fortunate she live with us but we weren't there to stop her giving bank details out . Called the number and they put the phone down on us clearly a fraud from a foreign country. Called bank and blocked account from been ripped off by these disgusting evil cretins. I had a call from 01926893111 which was probably a dentist with whom I had made a web enquiry. But I did not answer and they did not leave any message. I suspect that the number has been wrongly registered on your database as entering the number which called me brings me to this page.

Fraud Claiming someone had just used 'your Visa' to withdraw £900 and to press 1.
When I answered their call, they asked who I was!! They then went on to say it was about payments made on an Airplus Corporate Credit card, I don't have one. They then said it was connected to a phone number ending in 2331. After saying that wasn't my number they hung up and I've not been able to get them to answer since.

Don't know who called me from this number. I jumped out of bed when the phone rang but I didn't pick up as I didn't recognise the number. It was 7:36 am ffs! Even the sun was still in bed where I live in Greater Manchester and I do't even know where Thanet is, never mind why someone from there would be phoning me at an ungodly hour. I highly suspect this was a scam call.
