scam text about an none existent appointment to repair an appliance. They seem to be contacting me from several numbers and inviting me to contact them on yet more.

I was called by this number this morning. They told me they were calling regarding my licence from MICROSOFT being lapsed. They told me they would be able to renew my licence and could show me how to remove hackers from my laptop. I allowed these people access to my laptop thinking I was removing the hackers and viruses from the laptop. They gained access to my files and I have had money removed from my bank account (now closed).

When I asked him to confirm what the address was that he was calling about, he just ignored me and continued with his script, but when I asked again he just ended the call. Rang four times a day for the last few days. Rang the number back after coming up clear on google. Got automated message saying I was rang by 1st Call Group. The number is a Manchester number but based in South Africa, which is suspicious to start with. Looking at their client list on their website, includes many PPI companies, Ambulance chasers, and other undesirables.

I don't think this is a safe number - appears to come from a house in Mansfield Road, Bournemouth but the message says there has been unusual activity on your card mentioning Amazon & an international bank transfer. There aren't any banks in Mansfield Road. It doesn't mention what bank is involved & you can't call the number back I think this is a scam.

Multiple calls from 0203 190 8712, 13, 15 & 16. Wonder what happened to 14! Typical scam call centre operation. First few times Asian sounding caller with a made up Anglicised name actually trying to flog something. More recently dropped calls, either before or after answering. They are the first operation I ve ever had spam from on my Mobile, and very odd for it to be a non-withheld UK number.

I don't wanna call back since I do not know the number - it could be just a robocaller testing if my number is responding, don't want to let them know my line is active...
