Got a call from this number stating that it is an investment company and they had my details (phone number, full names and surname, an investment account number, and my credit card number. They claimed I had a small balance with them and they wanted to refund it to me, I said I have no knowledge of an account or refund due. I received a call from a man with a very strong accent claiming to be from BT to help speed up our broadband. The fact that he greeted me saying ?hi I?m Martin? then 5 minutes later told me his name was John Wilson, was a huge red flag. I can confirm that this is a scam call number as I called the real BT to confirm the number was not affiliated with them. Do not give out any information or allow these scammers access to your computer!

SCAM HMRC is aware of an automated phone call scam which will tell you HMRC is filing a lawsuit against you, and to press 1 to speak to a caseworker to make a payment. We can confirm this is a scam and you should end the call immediately. This scam has been widely reported and often targets elderly and vulnerable people.
This number keeps calling many times a day. At first they said they were Talk Talk but after we told them we knew they were trying to scam, they now keep calling and then hang up.

A woman called Lauren called at 8.30 am to say that a lot of households in our neighbourhood had been receiving unwanted and nuisance calls. I asked if she was one of them and she said that her company, DDC (D Delta Complaints – or having looked at other comments, maybe it was Data Compliance) was going to put us on a more restrictive and safer system to block the fraudsters. I asked for her number and she said 0292 000 8716 but when I did 1471 it was 0208 312 0993.
