This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. An asian man called and said he was from Microsoft and they were getting 1000s of error messages from my computer. I asked why he was calling and he got very irate when I asked for his MS Engineer number (MSC 9235) and office contact tel (0044 344 800 240
Stating to be HMRC and a tax fraud alert has been made in my name. I had to press 1 to talk to an officer or an arrest warrant would be made and I would have police at my door immediately. SCAM of some sort, I didnt press 1 so dont know what they would have done
