Don t bother picking up it is just a plain scam and definitely do not call them back as it can either cost you a lot of money or take away your remaining credit you have on your phone! hope this comment helped! :)

Would not tell me what they wanted, they said it was in regards to a debt but would not let me continue the call without giving them my full address which I refused obviously. Would not tell me the nature of the debt either.

I answered but they hung up straight away.

Answered on 3rd ring-silence then caller hung up!

Someone called me to say that someone had bought a laptop using my name and address - I didn t give any details and they just told me to change my password but were not clear on what I should change - not that I would!

Following up the block of a (legitimate) high value card transaction. The caller supplied (limited) sensitive information and requested (limited) confirmation. Good f/u & welcome protection.

Just been called by this number to inform me my emails are being used by someone in the usa and if I follow his instructions through my computer we can solve this together. Bloody nice chap! However I do know that once connected to your computer they can lock you out unless you make payments to them. SCAM me thinks. I don t know why they give out 0843 numbers because they all seem to be used for these types of premium rate scams. If you register for the non-existant prize draw you are charged huge sums for every message you get from them until all of your phone credit is gone.

Do no agree to speak to these people they are con artists we record all their calls when they ring work and pas them onto our local police fraud department.

They say they are Wonecomb?? Working on behalf of BT. They hold the lines for large companies and charities e.g Cancer research and Haribos. Is this a scam??
