Said they were from BT and were going to cancel Broadband, installed anywhere desktop access software and installed Trojan Gen 5 to gain access to a bank account. Thankfully the bank saw it as a large amount and blocked the transaction

There was a recorded announcement of two misuses of my credit card (one of them Tesco). No mention of who was calling. A recorded announcement asked me to "press 2 and hold" to speak to customer service. A male voice with a strong foreign accent then asked me for my personal details. When asked what bank he was from the phone went dead.
Just had a very shady call, would only speak to the owner. Did some digging and found this warning on facebook: *ATTENTION SMALL BUSINESSES* Had a call from this company earlier today, trying to sell me advertising space on GP surgery appointment cards... Google them and you ll soon see they appear to be SCAMMERS... Been at it for years... I know from the phone conversation they re operating in the South Wales area in the next few days... I politely declined... Glad I did... Suggest everyone do the sa
